I had an initial appointment with Dr. Jackson for diabetic nail care. He took my history which also includes diabetic neuropathy. He focused in on the neuropathy and wanted to send me to another doctor for back surgery to help with the neuropathy. What??? I made it clear to him after a lengthy discussion that I would not be having back surgery. He started to leave the room and I asked him to cut my toenails. He said I would need to make another appointment for that. Again, what???? I scheduled an appointment for two weeks. In the meantime, I developed a badly infected ingrown toenail. I found another podiatrist who agreed to see me the next day. He had to cut a large piece of my toenail off because it was very deep, and prescribed an antibiotic. If I could give Dr. Jackson zero stars, that would be what he deserves.
