I am retracting the great review left 07/14/2017. Dr Getman showed extreme disregard for my son’s mental and physical health. My son had recently “aged out” of pediatrics but is still in school. He had not had the occasion as of yet, to start with a new family dr. He was In need of a doctor for very personal reasons that was distressing him. Because he had not met any of the doctors in the adult section he did not want to make an appt. with one for this particular issue. I made the mistake (thinking since Getman had been his Dr for years) Of assuring my son that he could go see Getman this one time. I called To leave a message to ask Dr Getman to call but I didn’t hear back. I called again. The nurse said he wouldn’t be calling. That now that he was 18 (despite that he was in school) he needed to see a dr for adults. I explained the situation again Stating he trusted dr Getman she stated she did let him know that my son was in distress but Getman said hewould find a Dr in adults sec.
