Dr. Long gave me my life back. I was born with hip dysplasia on both sides, with the left side being much worse. I'm an athlete and I'm naturally not inclined to do any kind of surgery unless there is no other way. I had lived with very bad groin pain for a few years and after two visits with Dr. Long I decided to do the surgery and it's been incredible what a difference it made! My joint is now just as flexible as it was when I was a teenager. He's also a very caring and attentive doctor with excellent bedside manners. For being a surgeon, he's remarkably conservative in regards to doing surgery. He will never push you to go ahead, but leaves it up to the patient to determine when the time has come. To him, surgery is truly a last resort. His surgery technique with robotic assistance makes the whole process much easier to recover from; he's an absolute expert in his field and on the forefront of research as well. You're lucky if you have him do your surgery.
