Patient Reviews

Public school teacher and clinical psychology grad here.....I write this with much pride and gratitude for Dr. Wilkes, Redwood City. I've received care from him for over 20+ years. He is proactive in one's care, willing to listen to your needs, has extensive experience working with patients throughout the hospital, and holds a lead position in his department. He keeps up to date on new and upcoming medications and is willing to 'look into' something if he does not know the answer. He will then get back to you within hours. His humility, excellent communication skills, and commitment in creating a "plan" for you exceeds other's. Your emails will be returned before the end of the day and phone calls are left with detailed messages and thorough explanations. Get this: after delivering my first son as a single mother, he made sure to send someone on his behalf to the maternity ward to check in on my wellness and to meet my new baby! He is a gem and Kaiser is fortunate to have him. C.R.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
