One of the worst experience. I was having a tooth extracted and only administered 2 shots of local anesthetic (Lidocaine aka novacaine). I told him I wasn‘t numb at all and he told me that it’s all in my head. He started the extraction and I was literally screaming and crying uncontrollably. He kept saying to stay still, but I was in so much pain. His assistant gripped my head in place to keep my still. After 15 minutes and me screaming, he gave me 1 shot of local anesthetic and I still wasn’t numb. I begged for more but was told that I am fine and that I was being dramatic. I felt every single bit of it. When he was finished and I said I felt all of it, he said that I was lying. I left there absolutely traumatized and have nightmares about it where I wake up scared. He insists on doing an implant and his office called me several times, but I refuse to do so. I have received more numbing shots/local anesthetic at the dentist for a filling than I did for a tooth extraction.
