My spouse is active duty I use Tri Care Prime for my medical. When I went to my appointment I was told afterwards I needed to pay almost a 40 dollar copay. I explained to them I've used several off base providers and never had to pay copay and was then told they would wait for the claim to go through. I went back for a 2nd appointment the next week the staff then insisted I would have to pay a 37 dollar co pay for every visit. So I called Tricare myself and was told absolutely not. The lady I spoke with told me they should not be charging copay to patients using Tricare Prime. Anybody using this facility should make sure with their insurance on what needs to be paid to avoid being taken advantage of. After talking to the Dr. and finding out I would more than likely have multiple appointments then speaking to Tricare directly I feel like this office is only concerned with money and not the patient.
