Our experience with Yasmin Khan was unacceptable. From the start, we were pressured to switch insurance because ours was deemed “not good enough.” After switching, every appointment involved long waits, with the doctor merely repeating what the (excellent) nurse practitioner had already said. Two weeks before our due date, Yasmin mentioned her vacation plans, showing little regard for our delivery. One week before, she suddenly brought up induction, forcing us into a decision we never planned for and disregarding our wishes for a natural birth. During delivery, she punctured my wife’s water bag without proper consent, pressured us into two epidurals, and pushed for a c-section despite my wife’s clear intentions and the baby’s head being visible. In the operating room, my wife flailed uncontrollably and turned blue due to anesthetic complications, leaving us terrified and unsupported. It’s clear Yasmin prioritizes convenience and profit over patient care. Her disregard for our wishes, lack of professionalism, and coercive approach made what should have been a beautiful experience deeply traumatic. Avoid this physician if you value respectful and compassionate care.
