My MRI clearly showed I had a FROZEN shoulder. The radiologist notes said so. Yet Dr Umeda said there was no clear finding from the MRI.I proceeded to contact another Cleveland Clinic Orthopedic doctor. I contacted him just for his opinion of my MRI results. This Doctor said the results showed a FROZEN shoulder. He was not my doctor, nor did he see patients that did not require surgery...despite all that he offered to see me. He provided me with a cortisone shot. Six months of pain and loss of full range motion....solved the moment I received that shot. The shot Umeda did not provide. In fact, after my initial visit, Umeda said to see neurology. He said it was a TOS or nerve related. After the BP cuff test, the painful EMG and my MRI. He was still convinced it was neuro. My neurologist was not, and had no idea why he pushed me towards her after the MRI.He prolonged the problem and cost me $$ for all these unnecessary visits.
