Patient Reviews
Jul 31, 2024
I saw Dr. Zachary Gale in the Livingston Regional Hospital ER after 4 days of high fever, breathing difficulties, dehydration & exhaustion. His approach into my room included no introduction, but rather a list of all the reasons he would NOT treat me. The nurse gave me a flu and Covid test. Both were negative. Dr. Gale never examined me. He asked no questions about my condition. He barked out that I probably had a fever because I was “cuddled up in a blanket”. My husband asked about a breathing treatment. He said he “absolutely will not do a breathing treatment.” Finally. without touching me, he pressed his stethoscope to my back and agreed to do a chest X-ray, but included the announcement that even if it was positive he would probably not treat me. The X-ray was VERY positive!Basically I spent a LOT of money for him to send me home to shake it off. The next day my PCP re-ordered the chest X-ray, put me on the appropriate medication with breathing treatments AND an inhaler.
