NOT EVEN WORTHY OF 1 STAR!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PLEASE NEVER GO HERE FOR ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING!! YOU WILL BE makhDOOMED!! I was recommended to see Dr. Makhdoom sometime in October of 2022 for a colonoscopy. When I went for my appointment he didn’t even wait until I was asleep to start the procedure and I was in excruciating pain. When I woke up he told my parents and I (18 at the time) that I have one of the worst cases of Crohns he has ever seen. He told me my stomach was so full of ulcers he couldn’t even finish the colonoscopy. He sent me home with steroids. I was visiting his office up to 3 times a week having terrible stomach cramps, diarrhea 10-15 times a day, throwing up, etc. Every time I would go back he just kept giving me fluids and more and more pills. Nothing was helping but he didn’t care. By November 30th 2022 I had lost 70 pounds and majority of my strength. I had an appointment with him that day and I was crying because of how much pain I was in. My parents had to carry me to the car and took me to my appointment. They put me in a wheelchair when I arrived and they called me back to see Makhdoom. By this time my skin had no color and my lips were grey. He looked at me and said “she is took sick, I can’t see her, she’s too sick, you need to take her to the emergency room right now, and don’t tell them I sent you.” Yes. You read that right. “Don’t tell them I sent you.” This is what he told my parents. I guess at that moment he realized how badly he messed up. So, I was taken to the emergency room immediately and a few hours later I woke up in a hospital room. They told me my bowel had perforated and bacteria had leaked into my abdomen. I had emergency surgery and had to have part of my colon removed. Now I have an ileostomy bag. They told me I was very close to being septic. I spent 2 months sick in bed barely able to move, 2 weeks in Carbondale Hospital and another 2 weeks in St. Louis Children’s where they finally got me better. It’s been almost a year now since this traumatic experience. I am finally getting back to my normal. Other than having an ileostomy bag and getting Crohns infusions for the rest of my life. So yeah, I wanted to leave this review to let everyone know I almost died because of “Doctor” Makhdoom.
