I had a fall on some black ice and had some damage to my LCL and the knee in general. Ellie was assigned to me to be my physical therapist helping me through my recovery. I'm glad she was because she is an outstanding PT. She has exceptional listening and observational skills for ascertaining strategies for my recovery program. Ellie used these skills to develop strengthening exercises that targeted the specific areas around my knee and leg. Her knowledge base of solutions seemed infinite! And one more thing, Ellie is a great inspirational encourager! I am completely satisfied with the treatment I received from Ellie and the rest of the staff. Ellie and the team are shining examples of what Northern Arizona Healthcare is all about. They bring to the table professionalism and the highest level of skill sets for your physical therapy. When I first entered the clinic I could not stand for more that 10-15 seconds due to extreme pain originating from the knee and traveling up and down my leg. This summer I hiked Zion and Yosemite. That, in itself, testifies to the abilities of Ellie to bring physical function and normalization to your life. Of course, there is a certain amount of work and motivation on your part that is crucial to your recovery. Ellie can teach you how to do that smartly and with kindness to your physical self. I can also testify first hand that Ellie and her support team are well trained in procedures and protocols should a medical emergency occur while you are at the clinic. You are in good hands!
