I've worn glasses since I was a child. This is the first time that the lens prescription the doctor wanted to prescribe was worse than my current prescription. I couldn't read anything on the chart. I asked to keep my current prescription. Additionally, the doctor was a bit forceful in recommending to increase the reading part of my lenses (I wear progressives). I didn't feel this was necessary as I've found the reading part just fine. If anything, I was expecting the distance portion to be increased.
