Eric Heckman, PA-C

"...Disturbed some kind of personal activity" from Kym's review above does a good job of summing up my experience with Mr. Heckman. Overwhelmingly rude. Wouldn't allow me to speak. After I practically demanded an x-ray, he finally agreed (Not sure his reservation—seems like more money in Ortho's pockets). Heckman has an affinity for the last word. A good doctor (or PA) should understand and accept that patients have the permission to be their own advocates. Doctors, like all of us, are imperfect (case in point: Heckman's wrong-site surgery documentation found in the PDF above). To top of off visit, Heckman went out into the hallway after agreeing to do the x-ray and muttered some remark to the affect of "...patient telling me how to do my job." Never again. Now I know why he was the first available PA.
