Dr. Ebbing is what an optometrist should be. He examines your eyes, records his findings and then takes the time to talk with you about what's going on. He told me that I'm at risk for glaucoma and that will be something to watch for in my future visits. I also have dry eyes, so I'm encouraged to use special eye drops and a warm compress on my eyes. Those are details that patients need to know. He answered my questions. That's the way it should be, but many doctors just don't take the time to explain things. All they do is fill out patients' charts and then set up your next appointment without telling you anything. Dr. Ebbing cares about his patients and it shows. His ability to relate to his patients is old school and just common sense. It just a shame that so many other doctors don't do that any more. When Dr. Ebbing left Ophthalmic Consultants, many of his patients followed him to his new practice. I'm one of them. Check out the other reviews from Dr. Ebbing's growing fan base of patients.
