Gregory Kimble, LPC

Dr. Kimble is a very nice man who seemed quite capable of helping with trauma and PTSD. Unfortunately, our session did not reflect his skills that have been preached about on his professional profiles and websites. I had cried and tried to explain my initial issues during our (first) session. He did not allow me to talk about myself without flipping the scenario back on himself. I understand some people do that as a form of finding a middle ground between two people however, for a therapy session, I was expecting to be given advice and materials to help me cope with what I have been through. Our session lasted about an hour before I got up to leave. In that time, he did not learn my past, he did not learn my major area I was needing help in. Instead, I left with knowing he takes vacations in Hawaii, what his grandkids look like, and his chicken salad recipe (which must have cilantro for a extra kick). Like I said, he was a nice man but did not provide the help I desperately needed.
