...continued from previous posting... Boudin was not only patronizing; but also was quite incorrect on what the "homework" was. He "scolded" us for not completing it, yet what we had told us to do, was not what he said later. After a 2 hr session, I was in tears and distraught and yet there was no effort on his part to ensure my safety in my emotions. I left the office completely upset. Fortunately, my husband was with me. I was scared to think how I would have been if I had had to drive home alone. Boudin never checked in with us after that to see how I was. My husband was in disbelief as well. What kind of therapist or professional allows a patient/client to leave his office in that condition? This was a couple of years ago and he was close to retirement. I really hope he has hung up his hat and not counseling any more. I wonder how his wife would have been as a therapist; whom I first requested. I cannot recommend Boudin and to this day it bothers me to recall him.
