Holly Ramaeker, LPC

I had an appointment with a student counselor who worked for Holly. I felt very uncomfortable at my initial appointment and knew that it was not to going to be a good match. I told them I was sorry but I knew this wasn’t going to work for me and ended the session early. I was then charged a $100 late cancel fee. I reached out to Holly (the owner) telling them I did not cancel and explained that I terminated the session to persevere my mental health (going into trauma history when you don’t feel comfortable or safe can be very triggering). She then told me the session wasn’t long enough for them to bill insurance and so they would not drop the charge. This signals to me this practice is more concerned with money than mental health, I would stay away.
