40 years ago I was a student at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. At the time I was coping with a number of unresolved traumatic experiences I'd lived thru. I walked into the Student Health Center where Jim Cole was director and was privileged to become a client in therapy working with Jim Cole. There was no magic want; I didn't leave therapy "cured." But the time spent in therapy with Jim changed my life. The support and encouragement, the grounding I gained enabled me to complete my degree program. More importantly, it provided the groundwork and framework that has enabled me to continue on my path of inner emotional healing.
