Dr. James Koelln, PhD

I met with Dr. Koelln virtually for a couple years to deal with both parenting and personal issues and found that time very helpful. Dr. Koelln was empathetic, listened carefully and remembered and connected comments in previous appointments with the current discussion. What I found most helpful was when he would suggest, 'What if you thought about it this way...', encouraging me to look at a situation from a different point of view to my own. I recently left treatment because life changes made it seem less necessary, but I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Koelln as a therapist.
