I have been seeing Dr. Russell for a few years now. Upon our first visit, he proved to be so insightful just with the questions he asked me. Actually, I believe that he read me and my circumstances and asked the one question that I needed to be asked in order to move forward. Exploring the answers to that question with him have improved my understanding of how to take care of myself. With his help, I have discovered things about myself that, if processed properly, could certainly improve my peace and enjoyment of life. He is a kind listener who astutely synthesizes information so that he can offer practical solutions or approaches to life's delimmas. He is also very knowledgeable about mental health conditions, their aggravating and alleviating factors, medications and therapies. Dr. Russell seems to have a true concern and compassion for others. He listens and asks the right questions in a way that is gentle, respectful, and validating.
