I saw Jane for a pap smear at Kaiser. When I brought up ureaplasma symptoms, she dismissed it entirely despite the fact that I later tested positive and had passed it to my partner. I had to arrange testing myself through LabCorp after another Kaiser doctor confirmed later that even though it isn't easy it could’ve been ordered through a third party testing center. My pap came back HPV positive with two follow-up procedures recommended. I never received a call to discuss results. My PCP eventually flagged it and mentioned one procedure would be painful and I should ask about pain management. When I messaged Jane, she incorrectly told me I wasn’t having that procedure and did so rudely. I later confirmed with another doctor that I was correct, and Jane had given me inaccurate information.
