Jennifer was a good midwife for most of the in-home prenatal visits. Answered our questions and was very friendly. However, a few things were odd during that phase -- She often arrived late, which is fine since birthing can be unpredictable. Her basic equipment sometimes didn't work (blood pressure cuff and doppler machine). Eventually I ended up needing to go to the hospital to give birth because my water had been broken too long, but still had to pay the full amount since her staff were on call for the birth already. I didn't hear anything from her after the baby was born. I emailed and texted regarding both a postpartum checkup (which was supposed to be included in the care) and insurance billing questions, and she never responded. We still have not received any word from her or help on reimbursement 3 months later. We felt completely neglected by her and her staff after the birth.
