I had a previous ACDF w Dr. Fender & Dr. Hoeflinger. After the surgery when I started to develop issues again I went back to my surgeon for help. After 2 long years I finally flew to NYC to see a competent Dr. I was describing my pain & issues knowing in my gut that they were being caused by my cervical issues. I was told by the gas lighters my neck looks great, no issues & I was going to be sent to a neurologist to try and diagnose my problem if the MRI didn't show anything. Well the MRI showed worsening conditions from my whole neck. When discussing with Dr. Fender she told me when I asked questions that 'Radiologist ALWAYS make it seem worse than it is!' I was made to feel crazy & insane regarding my issues. So, I traveled to NYC to see the best cervical surgeon in the world & guess what? I have a non-union where the gas lighter's operated and now I am scheduled for a C2-C7 fusion. Watch going to these arrogant, egotistical Doctors if you care about your health!
