Joanne was extremely dismissive of what I was explaining to her, my symptoms and my experience with what was going on over the week. Instead, she seemed hyperfocused on my previous visits, focusing on the fact they were video visits and not in person. She did not document my symptoms correctly upon looking at my summary of my visit with her, and stressed that instead of doing these 'video visits' I should be seen in person. Then she said I should stop all cold medicine and simply “add B…” for my uncontrolled allergies. I was clearly struggling with a sinus infection, in which I went to immediate care the next day as it worsened into double eye infection from my sinuses. If Joanne does not believe in patients doing 'video visits', she should not offer them. She was more focused on shaming me about video visits than listening to my concerns. Her dismissive nature and know it all approach are undesirable as someone in the healthcare field.
