Referred by Aetna for a pediatric neuropsych eval (suspected 2e), but the experience was very disappointing.The scheduler was consistently rude and unempathetic. We couldn’t speak with Dr. Parrish beforehand, so sensitive topics had to be discussed in front of our child, causing a major meltdown and days of distress.Our requests for specific testing were initially dismissed; only after pushing did the doctor agree. When I called to clarify the testing process and request better preparation/family input, staff remained dismissive.Due to poor communication, lack of sensitivity, and inadequate support, we canceled the appointment and are now seeing an out-of-network provider out-of-pocket.We can’t speak to Dr. Parrish’s clinical skills, but the office experience was unsuitable for our family’s needs.
