This review comes after being a patient of the practice for quite a while and seeing various aspects of customer service, effectiveness and communication. Dr. Lewis’ provides adjustments but you should know that they are very predictable and basic adjustments. I stuck with it in hopes things would improve over time. After a few months he brought into the office an amazing massage therapist Frank you can book with separately-once I started working with Frank all of my issues were eliminated. Dr. Lewis’ approach is not as effective. Let’s talk service and experience there were a few times the receptionist made an error and booked me on the wrong day of forgot to book my appointment. Always understood. There were a few instances where the night before an appointment I would get a text canceling my appointment and asking me to reschedule because Frank was sick (example in images). I was always understanding and accommodating because life happens. Imagine my surprise when after not missing one appointment I called in to let them know I was very ill and wanted to reschedule my appointment and was told to come in sick they were fine with that or pay $210 (the full cost of the service) no options, no flexibility. This came not only from the receptionist who said “yes come in sick” but then Dr. Justin emailed me to reiterate this stating “like a spa this was a strict policy and if I wanted to come in sick I could” No acknowledgment for being a loyal patient, no understanding and again my goal was to reschedule for a few days later. I wasn’t a newbie patient cancelling never to return. No option. I truly feel his focus lately on tik toks and IG posts have clouded his value of his patients and delivering a customized approach to patient care. Even the fact that he was willing to let me come to the office ill (no one wearing masks and I’m sure he didn’t tell any patients who would have come in he was making this choice) shows he is profit over people. I can even tell by some reviews these are the same influencers who he gifts adjustments to for content. There are so many chiropractors you can choose from in nyc and beyond that are effective, compassionate and caring. Don’t settle for less. I know I’m done doing that here I really gave him a chance and will not be back. Thank you to Frank for your incredible care. The 2 stars are for you. Go elsewhere.
