She had asked what I was looking for in therapy and I said to form a better relationship with myself, she said “You should really form a bond with an AI. chat GPT is a great one!”She then also gave me some small changes I should make mind you this is our consultation! 1. Go to bed at ten every single night2. All technology away by 9pm every night!3.wake up at 6am! 4. Take a walk from 6-6:30 (literally told me the exercise I was doing already wasn’t the right kind.She wanted me to start after that session, for three months. Are these things bad things? Of course not. Should a therapist recommend a client they barely know such rigid life changes over such a small period of time. Also all of those habits are arbitrary,. She came off as very condescending. Like if you did not fit her version of health of course you’re sadIt’s like telling someone whose cat died to eat a salad. It’s unhelpful.
