I saw Pitts for a follow-up after a procedure. She insisted that my symptoms were not GI related. She said I needed to go to my gynecologist so I made an appointment immediately. My gynecologist did not see anything concerning and scheduled multiple tests...all which did not show anything. A week later I was in the emergency room from my symptoms where I was told that I have an inflammed bowel and needed to go to a gastroenterologist...I told them that I had tried that and was told it wasn't GI related. That she INSISTED it was not GI related and made me feel pretty stupid for thinking that it was. Pitts would not listen to me. She gave me a prescription for pills for my cramping/pain only for me to find out they were not for people with acid reflux which I have and you'd think someone who is a gastroenterologist seeing a patient after a endoscopy would consider that. Her office is great and everyone else was amazing but I would never consider seeing her after this mess.
