Dr LaPiana is insightful, emotionally attuned and skilled in couple's work; she has been able to help my spouse and I understand the ways in which we misread one another's verbal and nonverbal behaviors. We have also been able to deepen out ability to trust one another as a result. I would recommend Dr. LaPiana to whomever is looking for a competent, ethical and well trained therapist. Melinda H
