I began seeing this provider during a particularly difficult time in my life, hoping to find support, guidance, and professionalism. Unfortunately, over the course of nearly a year of weekly sessions, I often felt a lack of clear boundaries and support.There were several behaviors I found concerning ? such as frequently taking personal phone calls during our sessions and sitting barefoot throughout appointments. While these actions may not be alarming to everyone, they created a dynamic that didn?t feel professional or grounding for me.The most troubling part of my experience came when I inquired about my therapy records. I was told they had been lost and that there was no recollection of our work together. After so much time spent in session, this left me feeling dismissed and unsupported.Mental health care requires trust, presence, and accountability. I?m sharing this so that others feel empowered to seek providers who offer the professionalism and support they need and deserve
