We took our daughter to see Linda. She was seeing Linda 2x per no for about 3 months. We stopped because we noticed our child wasn't really gaining the tools or understanding surrounding her emotions that we were really looking to gain from $150/session twice per month. The final straw was when she called my partner and our daughter by the wrong name for half the session and then scolded my partner about information he disclosed with our daughter even though she had no context for scolding him. Basically she made her mind up about why he shared that information before even asking questions surrounding details. Ego. Ego. Ego. This should be about the children and the families, not the counselors assumptions and ego. Isn’t the point to be listened to?
