I saw Dr. Miracle for about a year in which she told me I was a "bad candidate" for medication because I am "too high functioning" with my generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder. Very discouraging. I have now been on medication for over 3 years for my anxiety/depression and have been feeling wonderful. While I appreciated the cognitive behavioral therapy worksheets and tips, I did not appreciate my curiosity about medication and therapy being used in unison to improve upon my conditions.
