Ludmila Zaytsev, PhD

Dr. Zaytsev truly saved my marriage. I had already hired an attorney when my husband and I first met with her, and we went from arguing over custody to an incredibly happy marriage. After trying several different therapists and all failing, Dr. Zaytsev offered us a unique perspective on therapy and repairing our marriage that helped us focus on all of the positives. Once we did that, the negatives became incredibly manageable. I have recommended her to everyone I know, whether the future of their marriage is in crisis or if they just need a bit of a tune-up. I recently had a series of therapy sessions with Dr. Zaytsev, and unfortunately, I did not find the experience as helpful as I had hoped. Throughout our sessions, I felt that Dr. Zaytsev demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and showed little to no interest in addressing my concerns. Her approach made it difficult for me to connect and open up about my emotions. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of practical guidance or tools provided to navigate the challenges I was facing. It seemed that our conversations revolved more around generalities and theoretical concepts rather than offering concrete strategies or actionable steps to implement in my daily life. I also noticed a lack of active listening and engagement from Dr. Zaytsev. There were instances when I shared vulnerable experiences or expressed my concerns, only to feel dismissed or brushed aside without any acknowledgment or validation. Again, sadly I would advise to steer away from Dr. Zaytsev who is prone to making generalizations and often resorts to rudeness. Additionally, the scheduling and time management aspects of our sessions were a source of frustration. There were multiple instances of delays or rescheduling, which disrupted the continuity of our work together and left me feeling unheard and undervalued as a client. Overall, my experience with Dr. Zaytsev fell short of my expectations.
