We were quite excited to work with Mary and happy with the initial meeting- however follow up was not only impossible she would go weeks with out responding to a phone call or text. We even on the first meeting included her in a school conference only to be met with silence when wanting to move forward. Then we would get a random text that she was confused and wasn't sure if we wanted to move forward so when we told her yes, absolutely, let's get a consistent schedule made we were met with silence. I continue to try and reach out at this point asking her for a recommendation for another doctor or therapist to which we were met with silence. As parents with a child that has special needs. I hope whoever is reading this can understand the frustration it is to find consistent and good in-home therapy so to be completely dismissed after believing by her words, and first meeting that she was going to be , our go to in-home therapist was beyond unprofessionalism, but just ethically and morally wrong in my book. Communicate with the parents direct them to somebody else if you can't make the time to do it, don't just go silent and don't say you weren't sure if they were ready to move forward when we had weeks of messages asking when is she going to get us on the schedule again ?
