Initially felt like Matt listened which is good, however, he never provided insight or advice. Said he would send "homework" documentation but never sent it. After 3 sessions and cancelling on my partner and I 3 times, he finally wrote that he is referring us to someone else. We signed up for couples counseling, if he does not have the qualifications to help couples this should not be specified on his qualifications and he should have not accepted us to help. This was my first experience with therapy and a little discouraged as I looked forward to receiving professional advice. With that being said Matt is definitely not qualified in couples therapy.
