The only reviews I've written in the past were 5 stars for wonderful providers. Dr. Melissa Burke falls far from that scale. I've been a nurse for 27 years and worked alongside many great physicians. We moved to Dade City at the beginning of the year when my two daughters and I established with her. My daughter needed a note for insurance approval for a breast reduction. Doctor burke provided the note in a timely manner, but without important information such as prescriptions for creams that SHE prescribed, and notes from appointments when she saw my daughter. I called back to see if she could edit the note and include the pertinent information. She refused to edit the note. I called again to see what reason she would not. Edit the note and then a few days later. Received letters in the mail.Letting us know that she was dropping us as patients. She is unprofessional, and unfortunately I believe there are more issues. However I'll refrain from posting that. Some people should not be healthcare providers. Find a compassionate doctor somewhere else.

Dr. Melissa Burke is an excellent doctor, she goes above and beyond the call of duty. She ensures that your needs are met and that you leave her office feeling satisfied. She's second to none. I recommend her without hesitation.
