I want to share this in case it helps another neurodivergent client deciding whether to book. I disclosed at intake that I had upcoming travel, and one session had to be moved as a result- the only rescheduling that occurred. Following that single reschedule, Melissa sent a message declining to continue my intake, citing the reschedule as evidence her practice wasn't "the right fit" given "where my life is right now." I had specifically sought her out for ADHD support. Being dropped over a disclosed, disability-related scheduling issue, before treatment even began, felt like being penalized for the exact thing I came to her for help with. If you're neurodivergent and need a provider who can actually hold space for that, I'd think carefully before booking Melissa.
