I've been seeing Melissa off and on for a few years now, and we've covered many topics related to relationships, intimacy, work, anxiety, stress, body image, etc. She is so compassionate and listens very well. I love how she always acknowledges my feelings even when I know they aren't rational. I always leave my appointments with a combination of thoughts and suggestions from her and new insights and ideas that she helped me discover in my own brain. She works with me to find coping mechanisms and ideas that work within what I'm willing/able to do. I will usually see her one or two times a week when I'm really struggling and then take a break when I'm doing okay. Then I'll call and schedule appointments months later when something new has come up or I'm struggling again with the previous issues. I appreciate her so much because she's made me feel normal and able to cope. The office staff is great working with my EAP and insurance, and scheduling is a breeze!
