Going through old papers and I am reminded of just how horrible of a counselor Michele was to my child. She did NOT advocate for my child, rather she showed loyalties to her other parent and step parent instead of my daughter who knew very well that she could not trust her to help her in the way she needed. We still look back at what an absolutely detrimental time this was for her and we’re so thankful to have pulled through as she sought out legitimate help from a counselor who truly looked out for her best interest with zero outside influences. Despite several attempts to reach it to Michele during this time to understand the situation, I was repeatedly denied any sort of communication with her. Zero ethical standards. I truly hope she has improved her practice by now for the sake of anyone who truly needs an advocate.
