The first visit she was nice and thorough, though a bit abrasive. Maybe she is great at providing care to geriatrics, but in terms of care through the lifespan as a family NP, don’t expect great care as a pregnant woman. She will leave you high and dry and not continue prescribing medications that are SAFE in pregnancy. It’s sad to see providers not do their research on the pregnant patient population and rather leave them to figure it out on their own. Safe to say, I’ve found myself a new provider, a doctor, who cares for the WHOLE patient.
