I’m just dumbfounded that a therapist could have no empathy. She was completely dismissive of valid concerns and I could sense hostility from the very beginning. Make sure you are a good fit for her before you go in. She’s a boomer Fox News consumer, based on the talking points she kept spewing at me. When I called her out she just kept on. Over the days since then I would describe her as actively hostile based on at least one really big lie she’d told me (I think she believed it too). Be careful out there, people. I was in far far worse shape after I realized she was not harboring a safe place.
