She started counseling my abuser about 2 years into seeing me off and on. I begged my abuser to find another therapist. She didn't yet know of the abuse, but she knew they were my partner when she started seeing them. When I told her a story of my abuse her response was, "if that is how it happened". Fast forward, during a civil battle with my abuser she (on record) gave myself diagnoses she never discussed with me. This was later corrected by my psychiatrist, doctor, and years of records. She also lied about who brought my child to their therapy sessions and in turn lied about things that happened at those sessions. Also, later corrected with debit and credit card transactions showing who paid for what sessions (proving who accompanied my child). That said, she ruined me on therapists all together. Trust in all of them; broken.
