I told the doctor I was experiencing hormonal issues, including hair thinning and hair loss, and her response was to suggest it might be from wearing my hair too tight. What I actually needed was a blood test right then and there, but she did nothing to investigate further. Instead of addressing my concerns, she simply told me to go get a test somewhere else in Dowagiac. She was going to charge me $200 for just putting a stethoscope on my chest. A year later, I was diagnosed with undiagnosed diabetes and PCOS. Her dismissive attitude and complete lack of care in addressing my health were completely unacceptable. I wish she had taken the time to figure out what was wrong with me and actually cared about helping people instead of just filling her pockets.
