How likely are you to recommend Rachel Perlman?
I absolutely would not recommend this therapist to anyone. She was barely paying attention to most of my sessions (scrolling on phone, eating, etc.) and the feedback she did give was useless at best and severely damaging at worst. I was dismissed repeatedly for almost every issue especially those relating to my sexuality, autism, and overall anxieties. She even told me when I express concern and anxieties about coming out that basically "it wasn't a big deal and no one even cared anymore so don't worry about it" even though I expressed experiencing previous issues with it. Definitely stay away from her if you want to get anything helpful out of therapy or to even feel slightly validated. Office staff and scheduling was also a bit of a nightmare.
