I had used Paternoster and his eyewear services for several years. Although I always felt the prices were on the high side, I also sensed a professionalism. However, on my last visit, the first pair of glasses produced were of obvious defect of some kind, even agreed by the technician. So, they were redone. But then, while better, I was not satisfied with the prescription given, as the glasses seemed fine in the office, but one out in the street and in my car, I was having difficulty with road signs. Paternoster grew agitated with me due to his having to have them redone again, now claiming this was going to cost him. He had the glasses remade using the previous prescription. The blame shifting in attitude is what annoyed me, prompting me to take my business elsewhere for my subsequent appointment.
