I changed chiropractors to get one closer to home. When I first started, I was told by the staff that they did not accept Medicare. I questioned that because my previous chiropractic or did accept Medicare. On my next visit they told me that they would accept Medicare but I had to pay a $20 copay each time. I found that to be very odd as my previous chiropractic or did not charge a copay. Once I started, they told me I was a maintenance patient and the only benefit I got was an adjustment. No prepping equipment use or bi metal plate usage. They made me feel like a second class patient!
