Dr. Khawaja covered up a five year misdiagnosis by my Bon Secours Primary Neurological Care Provider, Mary Ransom, MD. He administered multiple cognitive evaluations over the last several years, supporting, but not confirming the misdiagnosis. When a new Bon Secours neurologist, Dr. Floranda, took me off the medication that was inducing the symptoms of Parkinson's, Dr. Khawaja's report never mentioned the change in my medication. Dr. Khawaja agreed with the misdiagnosis, multiple times. He only reported that my symptoms had improved. The report he gave to me said that I had brain damage and PTSD. There was no discussion of either of those new diagnoses. When I went to his office to discuss the results of his report, his comments were 'I have no problem with you driving!' and he wanted to know what I was going to do in the future. I am still working on it, Dr. K! PTSD is a nightmare!
