Sara was a covering provider for my PCP while he was out for a personal emergency this week. She was told that I ran out of refills of a medication that is vital for my comfort and that I've been prescribed for years. She made no attempt to call me, message me in MyChart, or set up a last-minute appointment. She did nothing. As a covering provider, she had a responsibility to care for her colleague's patients.
