Seth Winterholler, PhD

Seth has changed my life. I am 16 now, and when I was seeing Seth, I was about 14/15. I definitely was not the person I wanted to be, I was getting kicked out of school, experimenting with substances, and getting into trouble everywhere I went. My expulsion from my High school, Hansen Jr./Sr. high, ultimately had me gave me two choices; 1. live the rest of my life failing and never seeing the potential I knew I had, or 2. go and attend the Idaho Youth ChalleNGe up in Pierce, Idaho. I was honestly scared. I had never lived away from my parents before, let alone hundreds of miles. He helped me make the right choice, and now I'm back in school, and doing a good job so far. It's all thanks to Seth, I know that god is always paving paths for me to take, but that doesn't mean that there aren't people out there to help guide you along the way. When I was with Seth, there has always been one thing that has stuck out to me every time he explained it; instead of discovering who I am, and who I wanted to be, I first had to figure out who I was not. It all hit me as soon as I memorized the Cadet Honor code. "I will not lie, cheat, or steal or tolerate those who do." The very first line in the creed. As I heard that, I realized those aren't the kinds of things I want to be associated with, all because of Seth. I graduated with a certificate from both programs, the IDYCA, and Turning point, center for change, and I know I can always reach out for Seth if I ever need anything. Thank you Seth!
