I booked a session with her a day ago, and the whole experience was horrible. She kept asking what I need therapy for, I told her I want to work on myself , I have suicidal Ideation, I deal with loneliness and my parents don’t speak to me , spoke to her about the trauma of my mother not wanting me and abusing me verbally and physically yet she kept asking me what I need therapy for and there’s no need to discuss my family issues if I don’t plan on fixing the relationship. She tried multiple time to end our session half way through and kept telling me I was the problem. she told me she had to go pick up her kids , so she had to go. there is a huge stigma about mental health and therapy for a therapy to be so cold and nonchalant with their clients. The whole interaction was weird. Find another therapist.
